The Port of Galveston held onto its title as the country’s fourth-busiest cruise terminal.
Embarkations from Galveston jumped 35 percent to 869,923 passengers in 2016, up from 642,000 in 2014, according to the Cruise Lines International Association’s 2016 Economic Impact Analysis, a study commissioned by the association and conducted by Business Research and Economic Advisors.
