Houston-based Contanda Terminals, a provider of bulk liquid storage and logistics services, has signed a multi-year lease with Port Houston for 339 acres with deep-water access on the Houston Ship Channel.
The facility, which will include docks for ships and barges as well as accessibility for tank trucks and rail cars, will be built in phases. It will help Contanda double its terminal storage capacity over the next five years and expand into the bulk petrochemical and hydrocarbon markets.
