Around 60 Houston Astros players and staff members will each receive a record share of $438,901 as part of the team’s $30.4 million share for winning the 2017 World Series, the Major League Baseball announced Nov. 27.
The previous record for a full share was $392,006 when the San Francisco Giants won the World Series in 2014, per the release. Last year, the Chicago Cubs received shares of $368,871.
